NORTH-WEST ZONE STAKEHOLDERS MEETING AND INTERACTIVE
SESSION WITH EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, NATIONAL FILM AND VIDEO CENSORS BOARD, ALHAJI ADEDAYO THOMAS, IN KANO ON 22 NOVEMBER,2017.
Zonal Coordinator, North-West Zone, Kano, Mr Joseph Ejike hosted the Executive Director of National Film and Video Censors Board Alh Adedayo Thomas and Stakeholders in Kano, November 22, 2017.
Some of the important issues discussed at the meeting/Interactive session include:
I. A working Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Board and Kano State Film Censorship Board.
II. The planned activities of the National Task Force for the mop-up of Illegal and unwholesome movies in the market.
III. Ways to encourage the growth and progress of the Film Industry in Nigeria vis-a-vis its contribution the Nigeria`s GDP
IV. Announcement of the forthcoming Consumer Forum at Yankari Game Reserve in Bauchi.
In attendance were some members of the National Taskforce in the North West Zone , Hajia Aisha Halilu, Dr Auwal Abdumalik and others.
The stakeholders expressed their happiness and satisfaction with the out come of the meeting/Interactive Session.
