  2. REGIONAL EXHIBITOR
  3. COMMUNITY EXHIBITOR

 

NATIONAL EXHIBITOR

A National Exhibitor is an Exhibitor that is licensed by the Board to exhibit films and video works across the country in any authorized premises to which admission is or may be procured by payment of money or by ticket or by other means or consideration .

Requirements for a National Exhibitor

  • A completed application form, attached with a passport photograph of the Chief Executive Officer.
  • The certificate of incorporation, with a minimum share capital of two million naira (N2,000,000.00).
  • Certified True Copy of the company’s Memorandum and Article of Association. (Film and Movie exhibition or running a cinema must be one of objectives of the company).
  • Certified True Copy of the Certificate of particulars of Directors of the company.
  • The Company’s Mandatory Officer. (The Mandatory Officers are the CEO, the Accountant and a legal Officer or a formal relationship with a lawyer or a law firm). This must be well articulated in the company’s profile.
  • An identifiable office in any part of the country. (To be explained in the company’s profile).
  • Must have presence in the six (6) geopolitical zones of the country. This can be in the form of Branches, Affiliates and associates. (The details shall be stated in the company’s profile).The Company’s profile containing;
  • Profile of the company,
  • Profile of the Directors,
  • Profile of the mandatory officers,
  • Profile of the cinemas owned by the company, cinemas and/or exhibition premises the company intends to use.
  • Reference letter from the Bank.
  • Photocopy of the Company’s Tax Identification Number (TIN) from FIRS.
  • A printout copy of the Remita payment and NFVCB official payment receipt. The payments of ten thousand naira (N10,000.00) processing fee and the three hundred thousand naira (N300,000.00) licensing fee. Making it a total of three hundred and ten thousand naira (N310,000.00).

REGIONAL EXHIBITOR

A Regional Exhibitor is an Exhibitor licensed by the Board to exhibit Films and Video works in a designated state within a geopolitical zone of the country to which admission is or may be procured by payment of money or by ticket or by other means or consideration.

Requirements for Regional Exhibitor

  • A completed application form, attached with a passport photograph of the Chief Executive Officer.
  • The certificate of incorporation, with a minimum share capital of one million naira (N1,000,000.00).
  • Certified True Copy of the company’s Memorandum and Article of Association. (Film and Movie exhibition or running a cinema must be one of objectives of the company)
  • Certified True Copy of the Certificate of particulars of Directors of the company.
  • The Company’s Mandatory Officer. (The Mandatory Officers are the CEO, The Accountant and a legal Officer or a formal relationship with a lawyer or a law firm). This must be well articulated in the company’s profile.
  • An identifiable office in any part of the geographical zone of the country you wish to operate. (To be explained in the company’s profile).
  • The number and type of cinemas owned or intended to be used within the geographical area of operation of the company. (To be explained in the company’s profile).
  • The Company’s profile containing;
  • Profile of the company,
  • Profile of the Directors,
  • Profile of the mandatory officers,
  • Area of operation of the company,
  • Profile of the cinemas owned by the company, cinemas and/or exhibition premises the company intends to use.
  • Reference letter from the Bank.
  • Photocopy of the Company’s Tax Identification Number (TIN) from FIRS.
  • A printout copy of the Remita payment and NFVCB official payment receipt. The payments of ten thousand naira (N10,000.00) processing fee and the two hundred thousand naira (N200,000.00) licensing fee. Making it a total of two hundred and ten thousand naira (N210,000.00).

 

COMMUNITY EXHIBITOR

A community Exhibitor is an Exhibitor licensed by the Board to exhibit Films and Video works in a specified state of the country to which admission is or may be procured by payment of money or by ticket or by other means or consideration.

Requirements for a community Exhibitor

  • A completed application form, attached with the Passport photograph of the Chief Executive Officer
  • A certificate of incorporation, Registration of Business name, or any other substitute as maybe prescribed by the Board
  • Photocopies of the Bank payment tellers and NFVCB’s receipts for Three Thousand Naira (N3, 000.00) processing fee and Ten Thousand Naira (N10, 000.00) licensing fee
  • Bank Statement of the Proprietor
  • A description of the viewing Center in a profile form stating:
  1. The name of the Viewing Center (if any)
  2. The address of the Viewing Center
  3. The seating Capacity and
  4. Any other information that may be useful to the Board.
